Rules for Attendance

All students are expected to be punctual and regular to school. No student should be absent without information. If any child is absent for a week without information his/ her name will be struck off the school roll.

If a student is absent on medical grounds, parents/ guardians should send an application on the first day of absence. When the child rejoins after leave, medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner should be furnished. Normally no half day is granted except in case of an emergency.

Students are required to put in a minimum attendance of 90% of the total numbers of working days during the academic session, failing to which they will not be eligible for promotion into the next class. A fine of Rs. 100/- will be charged to students who remain absent without any leave application.

In order to encourage students to be regular to school a special prize for 100% attendance is awarded at the end of the session.

Rules for Vacations / Attendance

The school has two main vacations summer and winter. Other holidays are also printed in the diary

All students must attend school from the opening day to the last day. If the student has absented himself/ herself for more than 10 days without any information, his/her name will be struck off the rolls. The vacancy so created will be followed up immediately.
